“Without a Doubt was written around the concept of certainty in an uncertain time. It’s more romantic than most of what I’ve made, but it’s not naive — it’s about choosing to trust something or someone, even when everything around you feels like it’s slipping.

Sonically, it pulls from older ideas like a little ‘80s, a little slow-burn R&B, but it’s framed by how I write now. I think this track sits in space between the past and now. When I was recording it, I kept thinking of the feeling right before a fall when everything is still in time…”

Motion Blur

“Motion Blur started out as a feeling — like time was slipping through my hands faster than I could process it. It was written during a time when life felt like it was moving too fast to keep up, but not fast enough to escape where I was. The lyrics came out of late-night drives, studio days that blurred into each other, and moments where I realized I hadn’t stopped to breathe in weeks.

I wanted the production to feel like memory with soft edges and moments fading in and out, but always with movement. The beat never fully rests, and that’s kind of the point. It’s about existing in motion...”
